For
more then eighty years the American Legion has provided a strong voice
in America for the nations' military veterans, protecting and demanding
that our veterans receive the assistance they deserve and have earned.
It is critical that individual veterans participate and support all activities
wherein the welfare of veterans are an issue - the American Legion maintains
active programs in many of the areas where veterans welfare and interest are
involved!
Among these are:
- Americanism
- Children and Youth
- Economics
- Internal Affairs
- National Security
- and Veterans'
Rehabilitation
Additionally, Post
236 is active in the advocacy of legislation and preservation of the
national values that have maintained our nation.
Post 236 does not
discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, gender or gender
orientation.
