Even before Hurricane
Katrina, the floods in Iowa or any of the recent natural disasters
our nation has experienced, most local, state and federal agencies
determined that after a significant disaster, most people will be without
basic services for at
least 72 hours
Post 236 encourages
everyone, especially those in the San Francisco Bay Area, to take steps
to prepare themselves and their families for an emergency or disaster.
Toward that endeavor, Post 236 is working in with San Francisco Fire
Department's NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Rescue Team &
Training) Training program to hold free 18 hour training classes at the
Veterans' Memorial Building in San Francisco, CA. To find out more about
NERT and to let us know you are interested in this free training taught
by firefighters from the San Francisco Fire Department, email us at: info@enterprisepost236.org,
Subject: Disaster Preparedness Training.
NERT is a registered, DHS compliant
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.
